Wonderful Yogurt Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2006
This didn't really come out very good. If you are looking for something to make with yogurt, I would make the yogurt ch.chip cookies on allrecipes, they are great.

B and L's Strawberry Smoothie

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2006
I used a mix of frozen berries instead of just strawberries and honey instead of the suger... it came out great and my 3 yr. old loved it too! Tasted just like a Jamba juice smoothie!

Cranberry Chicken II

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2006
I sliced my chicken into more of a large chicken "tender" size pieces. And used leftover walnut orange cranberry relish my mom had made for Thanksgiving instead of the canned one. Put the whole recipe (with french dressing and onion soup mix) in a medium corning ware dish with some water to cover it all. I baked it for about an hour. It made a lot of sauce, but it came out great.

Turkey Bolognese Sauce

I was feeding toddlers so I omitted the jalepenos and I added a bunch of frozen peas and alot of fresh spinach (it shrinks so much it feels like alot). This sauce was great.

Yogurt Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2006
I think these are the best cookies I have ever made. Instead of shortening, I used 1/2 cup butter total. I almost doubled the yogurt, and used only 1 cup of chocolate chip... I actually only had these swirled caramel/chocolate chips because it was all I had. And they came out great. I baked them for 10 minutes. They are definitely a moist cake-like cookie.

Chicken In Basil Cream

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2006
I didn't change anything on this recipe, except for making only 2 chicken breasts. I made it with wild rice and mixed vegetables and my toddlers ate it like crazy. The sauce was great!

Baked Seafood Au Gratin

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2006
This came out good, but I would use more salt or seasoning (maybe the old bay others recommended). I will make it again and add something.

Asian Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2006
This salmon was very good, I made much more sauce as others had recommended and it was great. I probably should have cooked it a few more minutes than it called for.

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2006
Wow! My husband and I cannot believe how good this came out. I did not use any cumin or coriander and I doubled or tripled the amount of fresh parsley. I cooked them on a cast iron griddle pan with just a little olive oil. Mine started out more on the wet side -probably because of all the extra parsley, but it worked out great because they were moist and stayed good for days. The sauce was really good too.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2006
This bread came out so good. My 2 year old "helped" make it and when he figured out that we were eating what we made he couldn't get enough of it -- and also it was really good. I used 2 cups white flour and 1 cup stone ground wheat flour. And I used about half a bag of frozen blueberries instead of fresh. We loved it, and with 4 mini loaves we gave 2 away and still had alot.

Garlic Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2006
This is a great stir-fyr recipe.. I used fresh broccoli, carrot, and asparagus; no bell pepper or pea pods, and it came out really good. Everything was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I used left over rice pilaf from last night to make the "fried rice restaurant style" recipe (on allrecipes.com)-- my toddlers had seconds and my husband loved it.

Best Ever Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2006
Made this recipe and at the end divided it in half. Added fresh blueberries to one half and finely grated carrot to the other. Made mini-muffins for our toddlers with half of each flavor (baked for 10 minutes)and made 6 regular muffins with the rest. Both flavors came out awesome!

Broccoli Beef I

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2006
This is the closest I have tried to restaurant style beef and broccoli. I made double the amount of sauce, and it was too much... probably would have been better doing 1.5 times the called for amount. Came out great anyway. And I added onions too when I started cooking the beef.

Martian Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2006
These cookies are awesome. I did not use any nuts, and used cinammon chips instead of the chocolate chips (it was what I had in the pantry) and also added about 1/2 cup flaked coconut. Baked for 15min. Cookies are so moist, everyone loves them... especially the toddlers.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2006
This recipe was so awesome, I was making it for little kids so I omitted the walnuts. It looked very dry to me, so I added 3 eggs, and had used two very heaping cups of zucchini...didn't make the frosting. Tasted like chocolate cake, super moist (I would recommend adding the 2 or better yet 3 eggs).. and so delicious!!!

Breakfast Sausage

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2004
This came out pretty good, but not as tasty as the store bought that you have no idea what's in them... next time I would make the patties thinner than I thought was ideal this time.. I'll try this again and add more seasonings or something crafty.
