Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
I wavered back and forth between 3 & 4 stars but decided to go with 4 because it is tasty and it is easy. My only hang up is that i don't think it tastes as much like the local restaurant as I would have thought given the rave reviews of others. I echo another reviewer in saying it's good, I'll make again, but it doesn't quite satisfy the craving of the real stuff. Next time I'm going to try the seseme oil and see if that makes a difference.

Indian Peanut Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
given the fact that everyone else loved this, I'm wondering if it's something I did, but I did not like this at all. In fact, it wasn't even edible and the whole thing got tossed. I agree with another reviewer that the flavors just didn't blend....kinda like putting a stewed tomato on a peanut butter sandwich. I followed the recipe exactly without any modifications. I don't know. I always say you should try for yourself though.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

EXCELLENT!!! I can't speak highly enough of this recipe. Everyone loved it from the 3yr old to the 35yr old. I think that dredging through the flour first, as suggested by other reviews, is key. Also, I didn't have an oven safe skillet so I just put them in a glass casserole dish after browning. Yummy!!!

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2007
These cookies were great!!! My cookies never turn out right, and these were darn near perfect. I used blue bonnet butter and only 1/2 tsp of salt. I didn't think they were too sweet at all. For the second batch I added less candy to the batter and pressed in more just b/c they looked better. I wavered on the 4 or 5 stars. My only thing was they were a little more cake like than I like, but even that was probably more my fault, after all, I did alter the recipe.

Chicken Pot Pie II

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2007
OMG this recipe ROCKS!!!! I run a daycare out of my home and we all could not get enough...me, a staff, a parent, and 7 kids!!!! We doubled the recipe and it fit nicely into a 9x13 pan. Also, we pinched and sealed a can and a half of cresent rolls for our crust since that was on hand. It was really good, but I would still like to try the pie crust. We left out the thyme and parsely since we didn't have any, didn't seem to make a difference. Again, AWESOME, and we will definitely make again! Thanks!

Easy Chicken Alfredo

It was ok. I'm not a big alfredo fan, but my friend's are. They said it was just ok...some said bland. The odd thing was the way my picker eater ate it up...who woulda thought I would be adding this to one of the four meals he'll eat? Not a hopeless recipe, probably easy to jazz it up.

These were the absolute best muffins I've ever had! The hardest part about it was peeling the apples :) thanks for the great recipe!

Cannon Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2002
Excellent for parties! Very easy to make, however, the mixture is decieving at first. I didn't think it would hold together in balls, but you just have to kinda squeeze them together. I had 2,5,&6 yr old helpers. The balls were a great hit with everyone!

Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2002
I am not an experienced cookie maker, but I followed the recipe, and I too had to add flour before rolling out. The final product turned out to be very bland. Not horrible, but not real great either.
