Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Great way to free up time, stove and/or oven space. These potatoes turned out terrific. I skipped the butter at the end, as we had them for Thanksgiving and there was gravy, but truthfully, they were tasty without it. The towel between the top and the crock was a great idea, as there was quite a bit of condensation. Will use this recipe again and again.

3-Cheese Pasta Bake

Easy, tasty side with meatloaf. Nice alternative to the baked potatoes we usually have. Sprinkled additional Parmesan on the top for extra crispness. Yum!

Heavenly Potatoes and Ham

Yum! Comfort food at its best. I reduced the butter in the casserole itself in half. I used 3/4 cup breadcrumbs, 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese for the topping and it was delicious. 16 year old son ate a TON after football practice!

Famous Pork Chops

I used the roasted vegetable Ritz crackers and only 2 eggs for 8 chops. I thought, after reading all the reviews about the coating being mushy on the bottom that I'd leave the bottoms of the chops uncoated. Seemed to work just fine. There wasn't as much flavor as I expected, especially since I used the roasted vegetable flavored crackers. Chops were moist though, so that's a plus.

Smelled soooooo good while cooking and tasted great when done. I used homemade BBQ sauce and this was probably one of the best batches of pulled pork I've made.

Roasted Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

Great comfort food. I couldn't find the soup at my regular grocery store, so wound up using a baked potato soup and adding my own garlic. It was delicious. I have since found the soup, so will try the recipe again. Might also try adding ham and onions for a one-dish meal.

Marinated Spicy Pork Chops

Should have reduced the soy sauce by A LOT, and added more chili sauce, as I thought there was nothing spicy about these chops. Nice and juicy, but not what we were expecting.

Tangy Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Terrific flavor! I roasted it in the oven (someone forgot to buy charcoal for the grill...) and it turned out moist, tender and very tasty. Will try it on the grill later this spring/summer.
