I used very little oil( didn't measure it but probably 1/4 cup or less) & no raisins. I did add walnuts & one extra teaspoon cinnamon & one teaspoon nutmeg. I tasted it right out of the oven & thought it was not very good. But when I tasted it again after it had cooled I thought it was very good. Will make this again. I might even add some vanilla to the batter for a little added flavor next time.

Ramen Noodle Salad

I made this recipe for a funeral dinner & everyone loved it. It's quick, easy & very tasty. I plan to make this dish again for a graduation reception this weekend.

Butter Cream Frosting II

I doubled the recipe so I could color part of it to decorate my cake. I didn't want to run out but probably could have made a single batch. Had about 2 1/2 cups left over(some white some colored). I also added almond extract. This is my new favorite frosting recipe. EXCELLANT!!

Vanilla Ice Cream VIII

Loved this recipe. Ice Cream tasted like the snow ice cream my Grandmother made when I was a kid. Best if served day it's made as it freezes very hard in the freezer. I made it with Splenda sugar substitute & skim milk. Quick, easy & tasty!!
