My cooking tragedies
The first year that I made Christmas dinner, we got a "picnic ham" from a butcher. Well, Christmas Morning came, I woke up early, dropped the ham in the crock pot and went back to bed. When my husband and I got up I was a little confused because the house did not have that YUMMY ham and brown sugar smell. So we go over to the crock pot and take the lid off, and to our surprise, the meat was white not pink... the butcher gave us a piece of PORK instead of ham. A bit of a bummer!

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy
HATE meatloaf and onions but LOVEed this recipe!!! I used 96 lean ... did not change anything with the meat patties... only thing I changed with the gravy, which was DELISH!! is I added the powder from lipton onion soup and extra beef broth. Sooooooo good!! Thanks!! :)

Beef Tips and Noodles
First off, I've ALWAYS been afraid to make anything from cream of mushroom soup because I HATE mushrooms, but I decided to give this a try. WOW!!! So good, does not taste like shrooms at all!! I made the recipe x's 4, used stewing beef cubes seasoned with garlic and onion pwd, salt, pepper and worchestershire sauce. Used 3 pks of the pwd only from the onion soup mix and 1 packet dry brown gravy mix. I also used beef stock instead of water. Tossed everything in the crockpot for 6-8 hours and served with mashed potatoes! The gravy is soooo good. Tweaked the seasoning as it cooked. Fabu!! Thanks Julie!!
