I was a stay at home of two beautiful daughters and a wonderful, handsome husband. Now, my husband and I are "Empty Nesters". It was very hard (for me) at first, but we are having a great time now, just pack up and go camping anytime we wish!
My favorite things to cook
Southern Meals, baking pies, cheesecakes, breads, making pasta dishes. I like to get in the kitchen and create new dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking at least six kinds of cookies with my daughters for the Christmas season. Preparing Christmas Eve Dinner for 18 or more.
My cooking triumphs
Creating decorated Birthday Cakes for my girls when they were growing up. Now I look forward to making Birthday Cakes for my future grand children.
My cooking tragedies
Biscuits!!! I have mastered all kinds of cakes, pies, cheesecakes, cookies, and yeast breads, but I have never mastered biscuits! They are like a rock, you could build a house with them! The frozen ones are to good to stress myself anymore!
