I often work with kids as a volunteer in many areas. I love to bake. It doesn't matter what it is, baking is GREAT fun. I cook often and most everyone likes it, but I am not really an expert. Just an enthusiast! We don't really have cooking traditions, as such. I do make cinnamon rolls for Christmas Breakfast, but that is about it! I have earned several blue, red, and white ribbons from our County Fair when I lived on the Oregon Coast. My favorite one was for bread from Bob's Red Mill! Never, ever, ever put rice krispie bars in the oven to get them off the counter and then forget they are there when you pre heat it. It makes very bumpy black glass.
