About this Cook
Single, 34 year Cancer Survivor, live in a beautiful place - the San Francisco Bay Area.
My favorite things to cook
Learning how to make my favorite recipes lower in fat. Trying new recipes, to liven up turkey and chicken.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making a special meal for each holiday like my mom used to do.
My cooking triumphs
1) Made the Crustless Pumpkin Pie for Thanksgiving Dessert in 2008, my family loved it, and wanted more. I altered the recipe slightly by using only lower fat ingredients, and wheat flour. 2) Oven roasted my first turkey bird Thanksgiving 2009, and it came out beautifully thanks to the tips my fellow Allrecipes cooks.

Crustless Pumpkin Pie
Want to be the envy of your friends and family - this crustless pumpkin pie will do it. The first bite you take is pure bliss...and you'll want more. I have made this my dessert for Thanksgiving, heck even the fall. If you want to lower the calories a bit - swap the following ingredients - lour with Wheat Flour, evaporated milk with lowfat/fat free evaporated milk

Juicy Roasted Chicken
Wow this recipe made my mouth water when I found it. I simply followed the recipe, and have never had such juicy, delicious chicken. This is a great recipe for anyone. Instead of onion powder I used italian seasons and garlic salt.

Fettucine Carbonara
This is one of my favorite foods, I add Pancetta (italian bacon) and use my own spices - nutmeg, cumin, oregano, and garlic powder)
