This is a good simple recipe but nothing about it says "wow"

I also made some changes to this recipe. I used splenda and brown sugar instead of the white sugar and no one could tell the difference. I also double the amount of spices suggested and used pumpkin pie spice in thier place. These are absolutely delicious right out of the oven. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because the next day the seem to loss something and taste a little grainy.

I love onions and my husband loves shrimp but neither one of us much enjoyed this recipe. I ate one shrimp and that was more than enough for me. The following day I rinsed off the left over shrimp and put them on a salad. Other reviews seemed to like this recipe but I'm sorry to say it is just not for us.
