Pizzelles I

Melted the butter. Took the recipe down to one-forth of the servings and it still made a ton! They are delicious! (my first time making pizelles!)

These are fantastic cookies. The oil makes them crisp. This recipe makes a ton - I think I got 9 dozen and that was after I taste-tested quite a few!!

Pumpkin Pie II

Very good. Used vanilla soy milk and it turned out great for my lactose intolerant parent. Also used xylitol for the sweetner. No one else could tell the difference

Barbecued Beef Sandwiches

This was awful - the meat itself was okay, but how was I to make a Barbecue sauce out of the tomato pieces floating in grease? I took the meat out after cooking, and then shredded and made my own barbecue sauce to put over the meat. I followed the recipe exactly.

Best Lactose Free Blueberry Muffins

I made these for my lactose intolerant mother and she accused me of giving her "regular" blueberry muffins - she said they were even better than regular muffins! I used a sugar substitute - xylitol.

Brownie cookies

Delicious! The 3rd grade class LOVED them and begged for more! I didn't roll in the confectioners sugar and left out the nuts because of nut allergies. This was good also because I could serve to one with milk allergies! Thanks!

Pumpkin Bread IV

I made these into muffins and they are wonderful (especially warm out of the oven!) I scaled the recipe to 24 servings and used one small can of pumpkin (15 oz)instead of the 2 cups of pumpkin (in the scaled down version). My children loved them!

These cookies are delicious - crisp and the almond extract lends a wonderful flavor. I followed the recipe exactly. I just sprinkled with colored sugar since I didn't have time to frost - they are great just like that! Not too overly sweet, but tender and crisp! Yum!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This soup is wonderful! I only added a bit more potatoes and ham, but otherwise followed the recipe and it turned out great and didn't really take all that long to prepare all together. Very good comfort food!! My husband loved it! Thanks!
