I love doing meals for dinner parties or doing an evening of appetizers. Watching my Grandma make wonderful Midwestern (and fattening) dinners for the whole family. She was always in the kitchen doing dinners or making the most amazing desserts I have ever tasted! A first time chocolate souffle for company. I was so worried it would fall and be literally a flop but it wasn't. Another was a trial and error Bailey's mousse recipe and a sausage and pesto stuffed chicken recipe (that was a first date meal I made for my husband of 10 years - it won him over!)
