I moved to Texas 6 years ago From North Carolina. I have taken a real intrest in the Tex Mex cooking style since I have been here. YUMMY ! I have a degree in Horticulture and Love gardening. I grow vegtables, flowers and herbs that I use in my cooking and also supply the neighbors with Plenty. I raise Siamese cats and just love them. The beach is my fav. spot to be, feeding the gulls and just laying in the sun. I also love garden design and decorating.... I enjoy cooking for my neighbors and have many dinner partys. There are many things I love to make. I think the old stand bys are great such as stuffed peppers, Chicken and wine sauce, and soups but I have a passion for making the new and diffrent things. I am always scanning the recipes and making something new at least two times a week if not more. I loveto make Mexican, Itilian, asian ,Greek and Indian style foods. There will never be enough time to make all the recipes I have printed.... Being from Maine I would say we had a wide vierty of foods. The down home soups, stuffed peppers and of course seafoods. LOBSTARRRRR and Clam bakes. My Grandmother was a great cook as well as my mother but I think I was most inspired by my Grandmother as she was always in the kitchen cooking the wonderful home grown vegs that my grandfater harvestered out of their garden... I just love to cook everying......and use nothing but fresh vegatables..... My famous Chicken tortilla soup!!! It has left a lasting impression on the whole fmily and all my friends. Also my Crawfish ettoffee. BREAD........... I have tried to make bread and dont seem to ahve the kncck for it. I think its in the kneeding TOOOOOOO much!! I do ahve a bread maching now and it comes out much better!!!!!!! Thank GOD!!
