Apple Dumplings III
This is a very easy recipe that I have made a couple of times already. My only change was to add a tsp of vanilla to the sauce mixture just before pouring it over the dumplings. I even used the little blue "box" pastry mix. Very Yummy!

Amish Friendship Chocolate Bread
This is a great variation on the standard recipes. Husband loved it! Only change I made was to add 1 cup mini chocolate chips to the batter. Thanks for this recipe.

Amish Friendship Bread Starter
I just used this starter with the Amish Chocolate Bread found on this site. I only added 1 cup mini chocolate chips and otherwise followed that recipe. It is great. My starter worked out perfectly. I have seen several variations of the 10 day process, and they have all worked well. I'm glad to finally find a starter recipe I can begin on my own!
