Too Much Chocolate Cake

Absolutely delicious!!! Tip: I always use brand name cake mix and pudding mix (like Betty Crocker cake mix and Jello pudding), as the store brands aren't as good. My family's new favorite!

Cut-Out Cookies in a Flower Pot

These turned out perfectly, and were a big hit with my kids and their classmates! I also used almond extract instead of butter flavour. Excellent cookies, they are my family's new favorite!

Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2006
This recipe is AMAZING!! I made this for my sister's bridal shower and everyone loved it! I tripled the recipe and used a 12-inch heart-shaped pan, and baked it for 55 minutes. The only addition I made was to add 1/4 cup of milk to the batter as others suggested, and it turned out beautifully. I also toasted the almonds before adding them to the cake. Thank you for this wonderful recipe!!

Cranberry Hootycreeks

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2004
Delicious cookies! These were not gifts, so I made the cookies the usual way (ie. creamed butter and sugar first, then added egg and vanilla, then the dry ingredients) rather than the manner specified for the gift jar. They disappeared in a flash--a new family favorite!

Chocolate Mousse Cake IV

I followed the recipe exactly and it did not set! I ended up with a big sloppy mess in my cake container. It did taste good, but it looked so bad that nobody wanted to try it!

This is a fantastic recipe! Very easy to make and delicious! I iced mine with a simple water, food coloring and icing sugar mixture, and everyone at my son's preschool gobbled them up.

Yummy!!! A great way to use up that pesky zucchini. These taste amazing! I found mine were a tiny bit crumbly so next time I might add an egg or egg yolk. Other than that, these are awesome!

My family and I found this recipe to be just OK, not great. We weren't crazy about the flavour mix of maple syrup and soya sauce. Probably won't make this one again.

Sensational Sirloin Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2003
AWESOME!!! These are the best shishkabobs I've ever tasted! I marinated the beef for a day and a half, and it was soooo tender and flavorful! As another reviewer suggested, for the veggies, I coated them with olive oil and sprinkled them seasoning salt and garlic salt before putting them on the skewers, and they were excellent! I will make these again and again!

Orange Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2003
I'm not sure what went wrong with this cake...the cake turned out dry and the glaze was extremely sweet. Maybe because I baked it in a 9X13 pan? I will try it again in a bundt pan, but without the glaze.
