I omitted the black olives, cooked the onion with the turkey and taco seasoning and water. it all came out great. I used the green chili enchilada sauce which went really great with the turkey. I made some with corn and some with flour tortillas and both came out tasting great. excellent use for leftover turkey!!!! YUMMY!!

Fabulous Beef Tenderloin

This is so simple it is shocking just how great it tastes. I made mine in the slow cooker 3.5 hours. The sauce was so good I was just dipping bread in it, just very tasty!!

Green Tomato Cake

This was great! I followed the recipe exactly but did not skin/seed the tomatoes since they were small. I topped with powdered sugar. Very good cake, fantastic way to use up green tomatoes. YUMMY!!

Turkey-Cheese Macaroni Bake

I really liked this. I added more seasoning to taste, otherwise followed the recipe. Very good use of leftover turkey and great way to learn to make homemade mack and cheese. Could easily substitute chicken for turkey or omit meat all together. Yummy!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Yummy! I replaced the beer with chicken stock and did not drain any of the cans of bens/corn. this was just delish! Had everything on hand, very easy and tasted beter the second day.

Berdean's Cube Steak

Yum, I made this with pre-made hambuger patties and used onion soup mix with the boullion. It was great and a good way to use up those patties too. Very easy! Made it in the electric skillet to keep the kitchen cool.

Steff's Shepherd Pie

My husband and I really enjoyed this. (would have given 5 stars if the kiddo's ate it) I followed the recipe other than seasoning and cooking the onions witht he beef. Very good flavor and a hearty meal. That being said my oldest would not touch it and the toddler tried it but did not like it, so maybe not for all kids, but the grown-ups liked it.

Easy Chocolate Crackled Cookies

These are great and so easy. I make them for Christmas and everyone loved them. I also tried lemon flavor and that made a great cookie. These shipped well too. I did sub butter for shortening snice that is what I had. TASTY!

Slow Cooker Swiss Steak

I really liked this. I chopped the carrots and did not brown anything and it came out great. I also used cube steaks since they were on sale. Very good with rice.

Honey Glazed Ham

Used this for our Christmas ham and it was wonderful! i swaped the corn syrup for brown sugar and cut the honey in 1/2. I used the microwave to melt it all and brushed the ham every 15 mon. It was just great! this is the only glaze recipie I will use now.

White Turkey Chili

Yum! not pretty to look at but a tasty way to used up leftover turkey. I used 1 can unrinsed butter beans and only a soupcan of milk. I accidentlay increased the oregano to 1tbs and did not use cileranto. I really liked it more than I expected. very quick and easy.

Potato Soup XI

Very good and easy. The vinegar seemed like an odd addition but you could not taste it. I also added more carrot and celery and cut it into cubes. I added some shreadded colbyjack to the final few min. of cooking to thicken it up.

Chicken and Dumplings III

YUM!! I followed other reviewer suggesstions and added carrots,celery, onion.garlic and some spices. I also used boneless skinless chicken breast. It tasted great especially the dumplings! I could hardly wait for it to cool down to eat it.

Good, but the apples seemed out of place. Maybe i was not using the right kind but I think pineapple would have had a better texture. Some sort of glaze would have been nice too.
