Jimmy Dean Sausage Breakfast Pizza

I came across this recipe a few years ago though another source, but since I saw it on here - I wanted to review it. WE LOVE THIS! I use my 2 8" pie pans to make this - and I use an 8 oz tube of crescent rolls and split them between the pans then I top with one small onion diced, one small green pepper diced, and frozen cubed potatoes (thawed). Then I add the meat (sausage or ham) and use 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese on each and then 3-4 large eggs poured on top sprinkled with Parm. It takes longer to bake (30-40 mins) depending on if the potatoes were all the way thawed or not. But it bakes up more like a quiche and it's delicious! The toppings can be changed to suit your tastes - we have added mushrooms in the past too. This is a very versitile recipe that has always given us fantastic results for breakfast or dinner!

Southern Pulled Pork

Unbelievably tender! My store was having a sale on boston butt roasts - 99 cents a pound! - and I found this recipe. Oh wow - the meat seriously melts in your mouth! I followed the recipe exactly, when the meat was done it was falling apart that I had to use a spoon to get it out of the crockpot - I shredded it, dumped the water out, returned the meat to the crockpot, added barbeque sauce and set it on "keep warm" until dinner. Absolute perfection! For the seasoning, I actually used "Creole Seasoning Blend" from this site. This is going in our recipe box as a keeper! Thanks so much!

I truly had doubts about this and I was really just making it because I thought it was interesting to boil the can of condensed milk...but oh my! This is amazing! Kind of like a carmel banana cream pie but oh so much better! This may be on my top 10 favorite desserts list! I highly recommend trying this - it's fantastic!!!

Chicken Chipulos

I'm slightly confused about the rave reviews because this wasn't anything special. I followed the base recipe and added black beans, olives and a can of corn as well as some seasonings (cumin, chili powder, garlic)- without these additions this would have been a one star recipe. The tortillas didn't get crunchy, as another reviewer said - mine were mushy. Overall, not a great recipe and I don't know if I'll make this again.

All Seasons Marinade

Great marinade! I love this marinade not only because of the fantastic flavor - but because it uses ingredients I always have on hand. I was cooking pork tenderloin tonight and only had abou 20 minutes to marinate it. I found this recipe and eyeballed the measurments and it was great! I used dijon mustard instead - this is very versatile! Will go in the favorite recipe folder! Thanks!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

As a base soup, this is very bland - I added corn and carrots as well as garlic, a fair amount of black pepper, dried thyme and more ham. With the additions, I think it's excellent. Without the additional seasonings, it tastes like flour.

Oven Baked Jambalaya

Yum! I found this needed a bit more liquid - so I scaled the recipe to 1/2 and added 6 cups of chicken broth. I also found that it needed a substantially longer time to cook as the rice wasn't done in 1 1/2 hours. I may try it next time in the crockpot - but really good flavor, but needs some adjustment.

Yum! I omitted the green pepper and added a bag of shredded cabbage near the end of cooking. I also added garlic powder and cumin -- it was absolutely delicious and very easy!
