I am not a jello fan but this recipe is pretty good. Will definitely make again. I was skeptical about evaporated milk mixed with the jello but it was really good!

Peppermint Marshmallows

Oh wow was this recipe easy. The only problem I ran into was I didn't have the gelatin completely dissolved so when I added the hot sugar syrup mixture, there were some clumps of gelatin mixed in. Some of the clumps were still there in the finished product. Ooops. That was my fault. Otherwise YUM. I didnt add peppermint either. I just wanted plain ones. Thank you so much! I can't wait to try these with smores!!!!

Caramel Shortbread Squares

This was easy. I placed the shortbread in the freezer to cool and then added the caramel. Then cooled the caramel layer in the freezer. Then melted chocolate on top and then chilled that in the freezer. It was excellent and reminded me of a twix bar. Will make again.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

I preheated the cast iron skillet with veg oil as recommended by another reviewer. Poured the batter into the pan and then drizzled honey on top. This turned out excellent. Will make again.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

I marinated the pork chops in applejuice/soy and wow they were really juicy and tender. I will definitely do that again. This recipe is really good but no one cared for the apples. I guess we see apples as a dessert and not part of a main course. Will definitely make this again but just without the apples or brush the apples off after they bake. Thanks for the new way to make pork chops!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These are very good but I made the mistake of flattening them and they spread out really thin! When I left them as balls then they looked a lot better. I will try the OJ next time. All in all its a good cookie.

Very Chocolate Ice Cream

Very very very chocolaty! I had no problems with mine freezing. Just make sure to cool the base before adding it to your ice cream maker.

Cinnamon Ice Cream

Out of all the ice creams I have made so far, this is the best. This beats cookie dough ice cream and even plain vanilla. I can not wait to try this with apple pie or crisp. Excellent. This deserves more than 5 stars.

Cookie Dough for Ice Cream (Eggless)

Yes definitely use all brown sugar and add milk and more butter and a pinch of salt. This was so yummy and rich. I didn't know whether to eat it plain or use it in the vanilla ice cream I made! It was "that" good.

Balsamic Strawberries

This was pretty good but I probably wont make again only because not very many here like strawberries on their ice cream. The balsamic really does enhance the flavor of the strawberries and you can not taste the vinegar. I used regular sugar as we do not use diet products in our house.

Slow Cooker Carnitas

This was ok. I think I will skip the cinnamon next time though. I could taste a hint of it and well it just didn't work with a savory meal. All in all though I will make it again minus the cinnamon.

Coconut Cream Cake I

This was pretty good. Really rich though. I didn't sprinkle flaked coconut over the top though as no one likes the texture of coconut.
