This was a really great recipe! I was looking for a good falafel recipe after having some while I was at a festival, and they were exceedingly dry, leaving me with a craving for a good falafel. I used dry parsley, simply because that's what I had, and halved the amount of cumin because I was worried about too strong of a cumin flavour, but next time I would definitely put the full amount in. I would like to try baking them as well, to reduce the fat.

I had a version of this salad 5 or 6 years ago, and had searched for a recipe at the time, but alas, there was none to be found here. Then I saw it made on a cooking show on tv recently, and went looking again, and low and behold - there was now a recipe! I make it without the olives since I hate olives, and I think it's great. The only thing is that I find it does not keep well, as it gets really watery the longer it sits - only make what you will eat, and prepare it as close to serving time as possible.

These were excellent cookies. I thought the yogurt might add a slight tangy flavour, but they taste just like good ol' chocolate chip cookies. I only had vanilla flavoured non-fat yogurt, so I reduced the vanilla to 1 tsp. I used a mix of semi-sweet and white chocolate chips, substituted half the flour with whole wheat flour, and used all butter instead of shortening (like previous reviews suggested, and because I didn't have any on hand!). I like that they don't use eggs, as I rarely have them on hand, but always have yogurt hanging around.
