I work overnights, so I go home in the morning, sleep, and wake up when my daughter arrives home from school. We generally cook dinner together, spend the evening with her and the DH, tuck her in, then head off to work. I love to bake, desserts are my specialty. Cookies, cakes, candies, I excel at them all. I grew up cooking with my mother and baking with my grandmother. So now that I have a daughter of my own, she cooks and bakes with me. She is 8 now and has started to cook some items herself. Made over 1000 cookies at Christmas time. My last cheesecake, a chocolate marble, was a bit soft in the middle.
