I grew up cooking with my mother and baking with my grandmother. So now that I have a daughter of my own, she cooks and bakes with me. She is 4 and a "good cooker" !

No Bake Lemonade Icebox Pie
My daughter was looking for a simple recipe to make for a pie contest (she was 6). She made this and it won first prize in the junior division. We decreased the lemonade mix by half (we used Country Time) and it was perfect!

Grandpa's Special Stuffing
Only after cooking this stuffing in the Thanksgiving turkey did my husband tell me he does not like stuffing cooked inside the bird. Regardless, this was very tasty. I am not a big fan of onions, and almost every stuffing recipe has onions in it, I was very glad to find this one.

Scotch Eggs
We decided to have these instead of deviled eggs for Thanksgiving. They were wonderful. My three-year-old even gave her approval (although she doesn't like hard cooked eggs, and gave that part to her dad). Loved the crispy outside and sausage and egg all together.
