Everyone LOVED these. I made them exactly as written except omitted the nuts and doubled the choc chips. Thanks for the great recipe!

Cheesy Polenta

So very good! I can't wait to make this again and and again.... I followed other's advice and mixed all the ingredients (except the butter and cheese) while they were cold, and then turned on the heat. Once it was thick I added the butter and cheese and stirred until melted. Simple and delicious!

I made this as written with the exception of teh cooking time; letting it simmer for 2 hours instead of one. Delicious and easy! I can't wait to eat the leftovers. :^)

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Very good recipe! Nice and fresh, but a little too sweet for me. Next time I make this (and there will definitely be a next time) I will cut the sugar by a third. Otherwise, this is a perfect salad!

Fiery Fish Tacos with Crunchy Corn Salsa

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
These were quite good. I made them as written, but it was really HOT. Now, I love all things hot, but this one even had my eyes watering. I will be making this recipe again since it was so delicious and easy but I'll reduce the cayenne to 2 tsp instead of tablespoons. Thanks for the great recipe!

What a delicious cookie! I made them exactly as written and they were very very good. My baking yeilded 46 cookies and they baked for the full 10 minutes. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. This one is a keeper :o) Thanks for the great recipe!

Cranberry Upside-Down Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
A delicious cake with beautiful presentation. Perfect for the holidays. I used a 7" springform pan and made a smaller cake with more height. It baked perfectly with the time/temp listed in the recipe. This would be a great cake with any fruit/nut combo. Next time I am making apple/pecan topping. Thanks for the great recipe!

Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
This is a great treat recipe!!! Easy to make and has been a smash hit with two out of three dogs. The third dog is notriously picky and he didn't LOVE it, but he ate it - slowly.. which means that this treat is delicious for dogs! I followed the recipe as much as possible, but used 1/2 can of pumpkin and eye-balled the peanut butter. My treats were rolled about 1/4" thick, cut into small bone shapes and they baked perfectly for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Next time I am doubling the cinnamon so my house will smell even better when they are baking. Thanks for the great recipe!

Holiday Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
I absolutely LOVE this recipe! It is the exact one my grandma used to make every Christmas. Definitely use celery seed and garlic powder instead of their saltier counterparts. And I use 1/4 tsp of cayenne and it is perfect. This makes a HUGE cheeseball, so I make it into four little balls and freeze them and take them out if company's coming. They are even better after they've been frozen. :-) OH, and I use old Cheddar. Can't lose.

Slow Cook Thai Chicken

This was not that good. I will not be making it again. It looked like it would be really good, but I was disappointed. I am not sure what to do to make it better. Gave it two starts because it was easy to make.

These are delicious! A great alternative to French Fries and healthier too. Goes great with burgers and they are easy to bake when you are waiting for the meat to come off the grill. A summer favourite at our house.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
So very good. I feel bad rating this since I didn't make it exactly as written, but it was delicious! I didn't have cream of mushroom soup (I thought I did since it is a staple), so I used one can of condensed beef broth and one can of tomato soup instead. It was delicious. I can't wait to try this again with the mushroom soup, it will likely be even better. Oh, and I tossed in some quartered potatoes for the last 4 hours of cooking and they were almost as tasty as the roast. I will be making this again very soon.

Spicy Chipotle Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2009
I made these burgers last night (exactly as written) and did not enjoy them very much. They were quite bland, which was surprising given all the delicious ingredients. If I were to make these again, I would increase the chipotles to at least 3, add some minced fresh garlic and then top them with a stronger cheese. Maybe bleu cheese would be better. Overall, I wasn't impressed and won't be making them again. They were, however, a healthy alternative to beef burgers and I like that!

These cookies are soooooo good! I made them exactly as written, using mini M&Ms and chocolate chips. At first I was hesitant because there is no flour in this recipe, but it was worth the risk! I will be keeping this one and making these over and over again! Thanks for the great recipe Vicki!

Chicken Breasts Pierre

What a great recipe! It is easy, and tastes fantastic! The only changes I made, were cutting up the chicken into cubed before tossing it in the flour mixture, used crushed tomatoes, and I used 1/2 Chipotle chili powder and 1/2 regular chili powder. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly as written. I will be making this again, and again, and again.... Served it over basmati rice. Thanks Nancy for the delicious recipe!!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Wow this pizza is GOOD! We've made it a few times and it is fantastic. We use left over chicken strips and Kraft blue cheese dressing. This pizza was a hit at our 2009 New Years party. People kept asking for more! Even those who hate blue cheese loved this pizza. This will be a keeper at our house. Thanks for the great recipe.
