Slow Cooker Beef Stew I
This beef stew is wonderful. I did however adjust it slightly. I put the meat, flour, salt and pepper in a big baggie and shook it until all the meat was covered. I then added about 1 tablespoon to a pan along with the onions and browned the meat. There was a little of the mixture left in the baggie so I first dumped that into the crockpot and then added the meat and onion cooked mixture on top of that. Then I followed the recipe. About 1/2 way through cooking I thought it lacked a little something so I added 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary and 1 teaspoon of dried parsley. That did it! We LOVED this recipe and because it was so good, I made another batch just to share with others.
