This was horrible! I took the suggestions of others and used 1-1/4 cups of wine, added garlic, italian seasoning etc. Maybe it was the brand of wine that I used but I was sure dissapointed and it did not even smell good.

Sweet Balsamic Marinade

I liked the sweetness but I think the balsamic was very overpowering. Next time I might cut back on the vinegar.

Marinade for Chicken

Teriyaki Marinade

Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

I could not believe how moist and juicey these burgers were!!!!!! I did not mix in the two cheeses. I put a slice of cheddar on near the end of cooking. We also put 2 slices of bacon instead of one per burger. I'm sure that was a heart attack waiting to happen but we won't make them too often!!!! GOTTA TRY!

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

I wanted just a plain banana and chocolate chip muffin recipe and I thought this was ideal. I made it without the instant coffee and it was just fabulous!!!!!!! Very moist and exactly what I wanted. I added the whole 12 oz package of chocolate chips. YUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMYYYYYY!!!!

Banana Muffins II

I added chocolate chips and they were good. I had one problem.........the muffins stuck to the paper cups and I don't know why. They had to be eaten with a fork.

Gourmet Guacamole

I made this for a party this past weekend and it was a hit!!! I used sour cream instead of the mayo and doubled the recipe. There was none left!!! My sister took the recipe to make at a game night this week and is going to try it with the mayo.

Easy Eggplant Pita

All the vegetables were good together but it made the pita soggy and came apart. On the 2nd try I sliced all the veggies into thin strips and served it on flour tortillas. It was so much better!! It was like eating fajitas without the meat! I believe when you chop veggies into small pieces they lose their "meatiness", especially eggplant.

Pumpkin Bread I

This was very good! When I would see a recipe with applesauce instead of butter or oil I just assumed that it would not be any good and never would make it. This bread changed my thinking! Very moist and flavorful!

Apple Crunch Pie I

I thought the filling came out very mushy. It looked like dark apple sauce rather than apple pie. Maybe I cut the apples too thin because the recipe said not too thick. I give it 3 stars because my husband liked it and the crumb topping was very good.

Cranberry Sauce I

This is great! I was making the sauce with water until I found this recipe. I have used this recipe for 3 years now. If you want just plain cranberry sauce with a taste of orange and no other "stuff" then this is for you!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Very, very good! They were cake like and very moist. If you don't like an all chocolate and soft cookie then these are not for you. If you can't get enough of chocolate like me then try these. Easy to put together in no time. Next time I want to try adding peanut butter chips!

A different kind of cookie. Cake like, moist. Not a enough "umph" for my taste but I would make again with some changes like adding peanut butter chips, etc. It is worth baking though!

Sock it to Me Cake II

This cake was very moist and delicious. It was a big hit at a family gathering. The only problem I had was with the icing. It soaked into the cake and before pouring the rest of it the butter started to separate from the other ingredients. Too much butter maybe? I would make this cake again but either make changes to the icing recipe or use another all together. By the way I baked the cake in a bundt pan. I thought that made a prettier presentation.

Sock It to Me Cake IV

I thought this cake was dry and nothing to rave about. The glaze just soaked into the cake and it was cooling over two hours. I may try other recipes on this site.
