Bangin' Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
It's time to throw away all of my other banana bread recipes, I've now found the perfect one! Its moist, dense in flavor but not in texture, it's simply put, delicious. Strong in banana flavor, a real winner. I follwed the recipe exactly and will make again, and again, and again.

Raspberry Oatmeal Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
I love these bars. They were so quick and easy to prepare and they were a huge hit at my pot luck. I stuck to the recipe exactly and the results were great. Next time i will take the advice of others and try adding lemon juice instead of the water to the jam or maybe try adding a little alomondd extract for some Raspberry alomnd bars. This recipe will be among my favorites.

Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2008
My family loved this recipe. I had some pork left over from a previous meal so i used the last 6 ingredients to a sauce pan to make a sauce adding about 1/4 -1/3 cup of water to thin it out a bit . I then simmered the leftover shredded pork in the sauce until heated. I served the meat with corn tortillas, cheese, avacado, tomatoes, and salsa. It was delicious.

Mint Buttercream Frosting With Dark Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2007
A little confused. shouldn't there be a little bit of powdered sugar in the glaze to make it slightly sweetened. I love dark chocolate but it just seems extreme to not add any sweetner. I made this recipe right now and the frosting is delicious. if you don't like your mint to strong i recomend using 1/2 of a teaspoon and I added 3 Tablespoons powdered sugar to the glaze. it makes for a great presentation and I loved it on my brownies.

Pumpkin Chocolate Dessert Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2005
I'm eating this cake as I write this review. Yum! It's so good, moist, and the frosting is delicious!! I will make this recipe many times I'm sure. I will try chocolate chips next time for a new touch and when making the frosting make sure you move your hot syrup mixture away from the heat and sift your powdered sugar before wisking it in if you don't want any lumps.

Easy Whole Wheat Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2005
I loved these cookies! I'm always looking for ways to introduce my kids to whole wheat and this definately will work. The only thing I added is 1/4 tsp. salt to the dry ingredients to possibly bring more balance to the flavors. Thanks VETTY430 for sharing such a great recipe.

Margaritas

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2004
Yes! Finally I can make a good margarita! I wouldn't let myself get my hopes up because I've followed recipes before but have always been disappointed. Not this time. I added a mango and they came out great. I can't wait to have company over to impress them with my great margaritas.

Baked Ziti III

Reviewed: May 12, 2004
This recipe was delicious!! It's quick and a perfect dish to serve company because it serves alot and can easily be doubled. I added italian seasoning to my sauce, used lowfat sour cream, and instead of Provolone and Mozzerella slices, I used a lowfat italian pre-shredded cheese mix. My family loved it!

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2004
a very easy cookie to make. I used a jam with seeds and it worked out fine. I also took the advice of another review and used chocolate instead of glaze. I coated the bottom of the cookie and drizzled more chocolate on top. They looked very elegant and made perfect gifts.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2004
I love banana bread but now when my bananas go brown it'll be a toss up between that and these wonderful muffins. They're best eaten the day you bake them while that crumb topping is still nice and crunchy.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

I'm so excited about this recipe. It's the best one I've found yet and believe me I've looked. I'm very picky about the texture and taste of my cookies and this recipe gets a 1o for both in my book. I can't wait to try them with toasted pecans. Yum!!

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2003
These cookies are great! I lost my old recipe and was so happy to find this one. It's just as good. My family doesn't like nuts, unfortunately, so I omitted the nuts and added a 1/2 cup extra chocolate chips. If you're a real chocolate lover like me you can add a whole cup extra. The chocolate and pumpkin make a great combination.

Pumpkin Dump Cake

I just made this recipe and am so pleased with the results. I'm a big fan of dump cakes because they're so easy and pack so much flavor and texture. This is one that goes in the family favorite recipe book.

Key West Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2003
This is a winner because it's simple, taste great and uses what you probably have sitting in your kitchen cupboards to make. I only marinated my chicken for 30 min. and that was enough to add plenty of flavor. I can't wait to marinate my meat even longer next time.

Yum! Taking the advice of reviewers I cut the sugar down to 1/3 cup. I also added Honeydew melon balls and strawberries. This stuff was great and a big hit. I'll definately be making it again.

Rich Dark Kisses Tiger Cookies

I don't know where I went wrong. I went over the recipe a couple of times but my cookies came out flat. The dough was sticky as promised but not impossible to work with. I'll definately try this one again but take the advice of another review and add a little more flour.

Best Ever Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2002
The reason this recipe appealed to me was because it used less butter and I wanted my popcorn balls to be very white. I'm happy to say tha they were and they also were very good, easy to make and an absolut hit with my kids.
