my specialty? making food. eating food. not cleaning up after i make the food or eat the food. desserts are my specialty - especially brownies. i also love making italian meals, and especially love making and inventing new pizzas. we looooooooove pizza around here! it is my goal to make homemade birthday desserts for my family. last year, for my son's second b-day, i made a chocolate cake and shaped it into a baseball hat. i must say, it was pretty cool. i had a blast doing that. this year, i have a "toy story" themed cake to invent, so wish me luck! i consider it a triumph each time my family clears their plates... i once made bean enchiladas with slow-cooked pinto beans...and something went SERIOUSLY wrong with the beans...they were heard as rocks after cooking all day - yuck! even our bachelor friend who was just grateful not to eat another tuna casserole (gack!)wouldn't eat it! haha - bleeah.
