About this Cook
I am a happily married 34 year old.Currently, we only have a furry child named Bosley. Cooking is one of my greatest hobbies. Professionaly, I am a hairdresser/color specialist/salon owner. Forutnately, I have a lot of time to perfect my cooking skills. I love to try new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
Italian has to be the thing I cook most often as my husband is Italian. However, I will try most anything from Mexican, to Asian Cuisine, and anything in between.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite cooking traditions must be our annual Bosivert Christmas Party. With about 3 days of straight cooking/baking we have a fantastic feast of heavy appetizers. Everyone looks forward to celebrating the Holidays with wonderful friends.
My cooking triumphs
Being a true southern girl, I grew up eating everything "fried"! With a little help from my husband and my absolute favorite recipe site: Allrecipes....I have come a long way baby:)I have been a member since 2002!
My cooking tragedies
Well, I must say, the only thing I haven't perfected yet are scallops. I always over cook them so I let my husband take over the kitchen when we have those!!!

NILLA Tiramisu Cookie Balls
These were fantastic! The wonderful flavor wasn't evident until the next day after the flavors had time to settle. Everyone at the Christmas Party including myself couldn't stop eating these. They are simply DELISH!! Getting ready to make another batch b/c the first batch is gone!! Thanks for sharing!

Dip For The Stars
Gorgeous presentation and super yummy. This was a huge hit @ our Christmas Party and so festive. It makes a large amount. 20 guests devoured it and we had quite a bit left over. Would try and halve the recipe next time. Thanks for sharing.

Grilled Sea Bass
Coming from my Husband who isn't huge on fish and especially not home cooked......"the BEST piece of fish he's EVER had"......restaurant quality here. Since I used the butter I omitted the Olive Oil drizzle @ the end to cut back on fat content. Simply DELICIOUS! Served w/ a side of shallot/garlic/rosemary fingerling potatoes and southern kale!!
