We have this recipe in a kids cook book and my daughter wanted to make this healthy cookie. She did everything except put them in and take them out of the oven. We cooked them on oiled cookie sheets and flattened them out a bit. They worked just fine and were very soft, but were missing something. Next time we'll do vanilla instead of the orange zest. Yes there will be a next time.

Perfect cookie press recipe. I omitted the orange zest and salt and added 1/2 tsp of lemon juice. My extended family LOVED them and requested more and the recipe.

Appetizer Chicken Kabobs

I needed something different and quick. I cheated and used my quick marinate setting on the FoodSaver since I didn't have 30 minutes, but the chicken was tender and took next to no time to cook. It was so tender we cut it with the fork. My picky husband even commented that the salty/sweet flavor was great. We used it as a main dish. Just served it off the skewers with broccoli. Total prep to cook time for me: 1 min to prepare marinate + 10 min marinate cycle + 6 minutes to cook.

Banana Bread I

My 5 year old daughter made this recipe for her grandmothers for Christmas. Even she said "Wow! This is simple." It was delicious too. I did increase the recipe to 4 bananas though.

Cookie Mix in a Jar III

Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs

Easy, quick, tasty! Just my type of recipe. I substituted pineapple juice for the sherry, because it's easier to find. I only marinated about 1.5 hours and the chicken was so tender we were cutting it with a fork. Loved the pineapple.
