French Bread
I have used this recipe for Pepperoni Bread (also on this site), with great results. Tonight I shaped the dough into seven mini-loaves of French bread, baked them for 12 minutes, split them and used them for BBQ beef sandwiches. Way better than hoagie rolls, and easier to make, too.
