Blueberry Crumb Bars
I really didn't enjoy these, unfortunately. Even with additional cinnamon, they lacked proper sweetness and saltiness and were quite one dimensional in flavor. I tried to salvage them with a butter/brown sugar/salt crumble top and it helped... Just don't understand the high rating on these.

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins
These were fantastic EXCEPT... mine only took about 17 MINUTES to cook, not 35-40 minutes! So my first batch was ruined. This setback did help me realize halfway through that these muffins needed a touch more salt than called for and a little extra pumpkin pie spice. The salt gave it some dimension it had been missing. Doubling the topping is always delicious to me! I'll make them again for sure with these adjustments :)

Squash-Apple Bake
This was so good, my 5 year old wanted seconds and then wanted some for his lunch the next day. The brown sugar/butter sauce was perfectly salty to balance out the sweet. I would only maybe make a little extra sauce because I love that stuff...but not at all necessary! I'm planning on taking this one to Thanksgiving.
