Vinegar Pecan Pie
OK...beware!!! You HAVE to use WHITE VINEGAR in this recipe. I only had Apple Cider Vinegar on hand & ewww yuck, what a mess! The mixture curdled while mixing it up. Then after baking an hour it still reeked of vinegar smell. Then a test taste made me throw it away:( I will try this one again with white vinegar as a friend told me that the apple cider variety IS the reason mine curdled.

Sugar Coated Pecans
Superb!! Made these for thanksgiving snack. Used the ziploc bags, and replaced water w/ vanilla like the other had suggested. I made one batch of sugared & one with splenda. Both turned out perfectly...However the Splenda does leave a funny aftertaste, though the diabetics present didnt mind at all & were happy that I thought of them too:)**Make sure you use foil sprayed lightly with non-stick spray** (makes stirring alot easier & nothing sitcks) I already have requests for Sugared Almonds & Walnuts for xmas!
