I'm American and my parents are both Cuban. I obviously have Spanish and Cuban influences when I cook but I make ALL types of dishes.
I prefer making mostly healthy quick meals full of protein and vegetables and LOW in carbs, fats, sugars, and starches during the week.
But on the weekends, I'll make something more Mediterranean (Spanish or Italian) type cooking with a good dessert. Those 2 days carbs, fat, and sugars go out the window!!! haha
