I enjoy a really good meal. Whether it be something casual or more upscale dining. I collect cookbooks & my collection is now over the 300 mark. My favorite way to spend a day is to shop 'til I/we drop and finish it off by a relaxed, long dinner out.
My favorite things to cook
Full Italian or "Steakhouse" meal from start to finish including cocktails. Some of my favorite recipes include; Steak Sicilian Style , Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breasts, Penne Alla Arrabiata, Penne With a Vodka Sauce, Chicken or Veal Marsala & Peppercorn Chicken Breasts.

My cooking triumphs
I make a good deep dish pizza; however I've yet to make it perfectly. It turns out good but, I'm still trying to conquer the crust. I like the crust the way Gino's East in Chicago makes it. It has cornmeal in the crust.
My cooking tragedies
I wouldn't say it's a tragedy but, I made some chicken breasts that had a blackening seaoning to them. The flavor of them was good & the first 1 or 2 bites tasted great but, the seasoning (spicey wise) was so intense that we couldn't eat them.
