Mushroom and Artichoke Soup
It's always a risk to try a new recipe when you're feeding guests, but this soup went over marvelously at a recent dinner party. I soaked the dried protabellas in approx. 8oz of hot water. For the fresh part, I used a blend of shitake, white, oyster, and baby bellas. The smalll amount of leftovers were delicious the next day.

Clark's Quiche
LOVE IT! As many others did, I pre-baked crusts 6 min. and added 10 minutes to final bake time. I also added red and green bell pepper to the onion/mushroom saute. Then, I split the saute mix in half, added bacon to one, and diced tomatoes to the other. This way I pleased vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. Rave reviews from everyone. Thanks!

Stewed Cabbage
to keep vegetarian & omnivore friends happy - added a bit of liquid smoke and veggie broth to imitate the rich, smokey flavor of bacon.
