My family *LOVED* this recipe and I have made it several times since. I even made extra filling and froze it to use at a later date. Add extra spices according to your own tastes and add the veggies your family likes the most.

Awesome ! ! ! Although I was hesitant when I placed this in front of my kids and they all said it looked gross!!! But then they tasted it (because that's a rule in our house!) and all three of them ate every last bite on their plates! Even *the dad* had seconds !!! I added some corn to this as well plus cut the recipe in 1/2 and have enough for another meal ! Thanks for a great recipe Casey! It's terrific !

I used Basmati rice instead of white and perhaps this is why this recipe wasn't enjoyed by us. My husband and I didn't mind the first few bites, but after that, it went downhill. I would recommend more chicken broth as well and would not use flavored rice next time. Very easy to make though with more time to relax before supper !
