I made this simply because I was looking for a use for some buttermilk that I needed to use. YUM! If you are hesitating to try this recipe, DON'T, you won't be sorry. Hubby wants it all the time now, only with a little maple flavor. Next time I will use 2 t vanilla and 1 t maple flavoring. Thank you for a great recipe.

I have been making this relish for years. This is better than any sweet pickle relish I have ever had. Really yummy on hot dogs! I also make this with splenda for a sugar free version. Try it you'll like it : )

I was a little skeptical about the ingredients in this chili, but was pleasantly surprised with the end results. We have a christmas tradition of getting together(3 generations) and crafting christmas ornaments. I made this Chili and my favorite cornbread (yellow cake corn bread) recipe and both were a HUGE HIT! I didn't have mild green chiles, but medium hot chiles, so I left out the hot sauce figuring everyone could add their own. Other than that I followed this recipe exactly. You just can't improve on perfection. The spice was perfact for all. We served bland canned chili to the toddlers though. If you haven't tried this you need to and don't change a thing!
