Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way
We always go to my husband's family for Thanksgiving dinner since my family is out of state. They are not the type that does a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. I always cook my own turkey the Friday after for my husband and myself and have never gone wrong with this recipe in the 4 years I have been using it. We then use the leftover turkey to make Kentucky Hot Browns which is another tradition for us. It is still moist even when used for leftover recipes. Look at the original recipe which is listed as "Original Hot Brown" recipe. brown Recipe"
