I'm a 2nd grade teacher and I love getting together with friends doing pot luck or themed dinners or going out to eat. I love food! My favorites are tried and true recipes handed down from my mom and relatives or from church suppers. I love baking and making mexican, italian and asian dishes. Big family dinners are a must for every holiday. My kids complain if I don't have the same dishes year after year. My siblings say the same things. Those traditional recipes come to be expected by us all! I love trying new recipes on a crowd and everything turns out hot at the same time and perfect. It happens once in awhile! Burning a huge pan of lasagne for a big table full of company. Yes, dad was home and the oven timer just went dinging on and on....
