My Chili
I have to admit this is a very good basic chili recipe for those who do not have a lot of spices in their cabinet or do not like a lot of spice. The first thing I noticed missing was cumin. I would suggest adding one teaspoon maybe two of cumin. If you need more spice another tablespoon of chili powder will help quite a bit. I also suggest 2 cans of beans. If you have the following try a tablespoon of Worcestershire. I did use two cans of diced tomatoes and 2 cans of stewed and to thicken I did use 1 tablespoon of corn starch. Corn starch is a very effective thickener so if you are unsure start with 1 teaspoon and move up from there. If it is not hot enough try adding 1/4 teaspoon increments of cayenne pepper.
