I have tried 4 other recipes for oatmeal butterscotch cookies this is the only one that worked. I did refridgerate the dough first and then rolled it into balls before baking. They came out like cookies not like homemade paper!

The recipe worked perfect except I put bananas on the bottom the sides and in between the two batches I made to fill up my pie tin. I also dipped the bananas I placed on the top in lemon juice which worked well to keep them from turning brown but also lent quite a bit of lemon flavor to the pie. I would pat them dry first, perhaps.
