Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Pure awesomeness. They are huge and chewy! I did put the dough in the fridge for an hour as suggested. Painful to wait to bake them, but worth it. I also left them on the cookie sheet to cool. Scrumptious. May cut back on the sugar next time just to see if I notice a difference...not because they weren't good like this, but because it would make me feel healthier...Ha!

Black-Eyed Pea Gumbo

I made this exactly as the recipe called for and it was awesome. We did use Louisiana hot sauce to season our individual bowls, but that was added after cooking. Delicious! A new recipe for our household to enjoy! Happy New Year!

Hearty Ham Casserole

Very good! Put the leftover Easter ham to good use and had all the other ingredients on hand! I used real shredded cheese and added some to the sauce as others had recommended.

Grilled Salmon I

This was the best salmon I have ever tasted. I didn't modify the recipe at all. Made it just as it said (so easy) and it was just incredible. Even my kids loved it. This is a keeper!

Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa

Delicious! We just made this and I haven't even refridgerated it yet...it is so good I am going to have a hard time waiting 30 minutes! We doubled the recipe and added only 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Tasted good even before adding any. What a fantastic summer salsa. It did take a while to prepare (we used all fresh ingredients), but it was worth it in the end!
