When I was very young I always enjoyed cooking. It satisfied my creative side. My wife is a great cook and let her do all the cooking since we married. 20 something years later, I am getting back to my creative roots and am enjoying the art of cooking again! I once lived in an apartment(my first year of marriage) that had an old oven but well taken care of (I thought). I baked chicken for me and my wife. (easy to do,right?). It came out like charcoal, literally! I set it at 350 degrees but found out the oven cooks 3 times hotter. We still laugh about that!
