I am 14-years-old, I've been cooking/baking since I was 5. I love to make up my own recipes, tweak other peoples recipes, and put weird stuff in in the food I make that my family and friends don't know about. I'm an aspiring chef, this year I'm taking culinary arts classes at the college here in AK. My goal is to learn how to make those insanely amazing wedding cakes like on TV. Someday, I want my own bakery, and all that amazing stuff. I love baking cakes, making my own frostings and cake flavors is so insanely fun! I make all my friends a cake for their birthdays, and they love them! Every Christmas I spend an entire 2 days baking cookies. Then I make a bunch of BIG platters of cookies and drop them off at friends houses. At this point, I make 10 platters and I still have LOADS of cookies left over. My frostings ALWAYS turn out amazing... not to brag of anything ;) Same for my cakes, this year I finally learned how to crack an egg with one hand, it may not seem like a big deal, but it totally was for me! Popcorn. I can't make popcorn... I don't know why... it always gets burnt... my friends tease me about it alllll the time. Oh, and I'm the messiest person EVER when it comes to cooking. Powder sugar explosions, whipping cream splatters, batter spills... so on and so forth... it's terrible.
