I married young to my middle school sweetheart. He's also in the US Navy Nuke Program. So life is a bit of an adventure. I bake a lot so he can take stuff to class with him, and I also try to make delicious meals at home for the little bit each day we relax together. I love to bake. Cookies, Cakes, cupcakes, pies. And candy too. Still learning how to make nutritious meals though. I love it when my husband helps out with dinner. And I know he secretly has a blast too. I made chocolate bon bons once! But every year, at least twice, my family commissions me to make a pomegranate cheesecake. They love it, and I must admit, it IS really good. I was making my own birthday cake this year because we couldnt afford to buy one. I burned it and so I didn't have a cake.
