Hi! I am 24 years old and I love to bake. I have just started getting into it and I hope to get better at putting together my own unique recipes. Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with almonds! I am Puerto Rican so a lot of our traditions include rice and plantains with savory meats. My first batch of chocolate chip cookies from scratch were awesome (thanks in part to my honey, who encouraged it). We got the recipe off of an Arm and Hammer baking soda box =] Also, a peanut butter pumpkin pie made from fresh pumpkins came out great with me adjusting a recipe I found on allrecipes.com. No tragedies, just stuff that didn't come out as planned. Like an apple crisp I got off of bettycrocker.com, it totally sucked!
