Chicken Pot Pie IX
I used this recipe as a guide, I put carrots, celery and diced potatoes and chicken breasts in a crock pot, season with Mrs. Dash, garlic salt and thyme. I added a can of 98% fat free cream of chicken and some chicken broth. I cooked that all afternoon. Then I used LOSANGEL1's baking method ” I used Pillsbury ready made pie crusts (so easy..just open and unroll). And after brushing with egg white, baked the bottom crust for 5 minutes. I doubled the sauce and added most to the chicken mixture before putting it into the pan." I actually pulled the chicken out and shredded and put another can of 98% fat free cream of chicken in the crock pot gravy. I put the chicken on the bottom and smothered with the crock pot veggies and sauce I put on the top crust and did slits. Oh and I baked in a deep dish pie casserole glass pan. I baked on 375 for 40 minutes. It looked and tasted delicious!! Pulled it out a hour ago and it's gone! Thanks for the recipe and suggestions!

Easy Quiche
We really needed to get away from fried eggs, bacon and potatoes in my home! This is a great EASY recipe to cut fat and be creative. I used skimmed milk, low fat Bisquick, and turkey bacon. I subbed spinach for the broccoli and cut the cheese in half using what I had in my fridge (swiss and a cheddar/jack blend) along with the parmesan. I also added green onions that I had left over from a previous recipe. I love that everything went into one mixing bowl! I baked the recipe in a square glass pan and it came out great. We will share this over and over again on the weekends! Thanks for the great recipe Mishy!
