Banana Cake II
I followed the recipe exactly, as I am a cook, and not much of a baker (this was only my second attempt at a cake). The result was a dense but delicious cake that everyone enjoyed. Even my girlfriend, who doesn't normally like cake, ate a second piece.

Quick and Almost-Professional Buttercream Icing
I followed the recipe to a T, and this icing was delicious. However, I decided to follow the advice of several reviewers and double the recipe for a two-layer cake, and I ended up with enough leftover icing to cover another entire cake.
