This was my first time using a bread machine too and I also put the extra salt however I was a little worried that it had not rose enough because at its highest point it was just barely at the top of the inside basket and that happened during baking. But when it was all done apparently that was enough because it was really good. Next time I am going to use the original amount of salt.
