Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

This was so easy and really tasty!! I made it with sliced fresh strawberries since I thought it would mingle nicely with the cream cheese and it was AMAZING. Also, used the 8oz tub of lite creamcheese which saves the time of letting it sit to room temperature. What a great flavor and a yummy afternoon snack with coffee!

Barbecue Butter Beans

This was so simple and so YUMMY! The best for a 4th of July picnic or party. The only way I have ever seen the kids eat Lima beans (or a Lima relative thereof)

AWESOME! Works well with Apricot preserves also. Make sure it is thoroughly cooled before slicing though - makes a big difference if you don't!

Caramel Peanut Fudge

I tastes exactly like snickers! Make SURE you chill this stuff sufficiently though...putting it in the freezer between layers is a good idea, otherwise it goes all to goo. Yummy stuff though..my Dad's new favourite candy

Almond Brunch Loaf

The flavor of this was outstanding, but the instructions on slicing through the dough and folding back layers, twisting, whaterver - was a little confusing. Eitherway, my sons LOVED it. Yummy combo of orange with almonds.

Tangy Hawaiian Chicken

I thought the flavor was amazing..especially from a marinade perspective - VERY flavorful. I boiled the marinade as instructed (which would elimate any risk of salmonella or other bacteria, to reference the previous reviews comment) which made it even MORE concentrated. I suggest adding some water to it after its boiled a bit to cut down on the overpowering taste of the salty soy, sour lemon and tangy pineapple. But in the end, I found this to be a fabulous combo of flavours!

Local Kine Wontons

I little effort sure was worth it!! The flavor was great! I was wondering if its possible to STEAM these as well without affecting the flavor. I will have to try it and let you know--if anyone else has attempted to steam these (to avoid the grease factor) let me know. Dipped in S/S sause was the way to go! Thanks

Artichoke Bites II

I thought these little tidbits were awesome! I would definitely reccomend the mini muffin pans, because the regular size is awkward. I also used italian seasoned bread crumbs, which I think added abit to the flavor. They were fabulous though--this recipe goes into the VAULT!

Dinah's Baked Scallops

I usually like my scallops sans much of anything---but this recipe was simple and light enough to make the most of a delectible seafood entree. I added a teaspoon of fresh ground pepper to the crumb mix to make it extra zingy. Great stuff!! Will make this again and again.
