I love complete meals from scratch. Exploring new cuisines is an adventure, but I do my research to prepare them as authentically as possible. Healthier is better but not a requirement. Italian Stuffed Peppers, Peppercorn Filet with Cognac-Cream Sauce, Mushroom Risotto, and Shrimp with Rum Glaze are some of my favorite dishes. I also love baking breads! I threw out an entire pot of soup after adding a cooking wine to it, but this taught me early that quality ingredients are very important.
