I have just moved to Frisco and am still trying to get "settled in"...cooking has helped me make it through the days when I miss my friends and family... I love to explore the internet and surprise my family with something new/good...sometimes they dont like it (I have a teenager...I'm sure you understand), but its really great when they say how good it was... Of course Thanksgiving and Christmas!! We are all in the kitchen together and having so much fun being sure everything is ready...the kids are all hyper (because they've had too many sweets) and we are all so happy to be together... I love to cook from "what I have on hand" and be really creative with it...last week I made an apple concoction that everyone in the house fell in love with, but it was just apples and a can of biscuits!!(with some brown sugar and butter, of course). I love cooking in a crock pot but there was this one time...I guess I just shouldnt have left it on HIGH, because when I came home there was nothing left of the pork chops and cream of mushroom soup but charred remains...I said a prayer it didnt catch the house on fire and went on to my next meal!
