Dutch Apple Pie with Oatmeal Streusel
I received numerous compliments on this pie and don't think I will ever make a different recipe. I use 3 Granny Smith Apples, 1 Jonagold, 1 Cortland, and 1 Gala. I read others tips and brushed the pie crust with an egg white, then baked for 5 minutes at 400 degrees before adding the pie filling. For the pie filling, I increased the amount of flour to 1/4 cup. For the first 10 minutes of baking, I baked the pie on the lowest rack. Otherwise followed the recipe to a tee!!! So good!
